Ashwagandha is a small shrub native to India and Africa. The plant has long, brown, tuberous roots which are used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine and for other medicinal purposes.
Ashwagandha, also known as Indian Ginseng is used as a tonic for the 21st centuary lifestyle, it is said to bring “the strength of a stallion”. It is considered an aphrodisiac, and an adaptogen for the mind and body with anti-inflammatory properties. It is commonly used for male libido, impotency and general fertility.
Suggested use: 2 to 10 grams daily or as directed by a Herbal practitioner. Mix with juice or milk.
