Elderflower – Sambucus – Liquid Extract Tincture

Black Elder is a small shrub or tree that grows to around three meters in height.  Almost every part of this plant is used medicinally with the flowers being very versatile and commonly used. Black Elder is one of the most effective herbs used in Western Herbalism for hay-fever and symptoms.

It can be used on its own or in combination with other herbs such as Echinacea, Yarrow, Chamomile and Goldenrod. It can also be used for colds (especially a runny nose), flu and sinus infections. It is thought to be good for the immune system, anti-viral, a cough suppressant and to lower fever.It is also considered to improve blood flow and to help treat inflammation of the urinary tract. It is also detoxifying and can be helpful for treating other imflammaroty conditions such as acne, eczema and rheumatoid arthritis.

Almost every part of this plant is used medicinally, but the flowers are the most versatile and commonly used. –

1:3 Alcohol Volume 425%. Take 10 – 15 drops 2 x daily.
